E-Sports
I have spent an unholy amount of time and energy in understanding and getting better at one game, Counter Strike Global Offensive. I have attained the highest skill group in the game, The Global Elite - top 0.68 percentile globally. During my e-sport journey, the game taught me three key lessons, the intricacies involved in Teamwork, the cycle of Try, Fail, Learn, Repeat and the joy of Mastering a Craft.
I am no longer an active player, I am an ardent follower of the sport. Linked below are few of my gaming highlights.
Screenwriting
Since high school, I have been Screenwriting, I like to write Visually. Along the years i have come to the realization that the process of writing the experience that can be seen and heard on the screen leads to a latent understanding of the story itself. I like to watch movies and dissect them based on their screenplay.
During my free time, I am usually in search for an immersive experience in the form of video content. A screenwriter whom i admire is Aaron Sorkin, The West Wing is one of my favorite tv show of all time.
Reading
I am a sucker for a good story. I have earnestly followed the ones within popular culture, a few of them being A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin, Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien, The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis, The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini and Harry Potter by J. K. Rowling.
Few of my favorite stand alone titles are Don Quixote, The Old Man and the Sea, and The Alchemist. I am also a follower of a select few manga series which have their anime counterparts, them being Naruto, Attack on Titan and One Punch Man.
